A Galapagos island – San Cristóbal

When you can’t travel, why not think about past trips. Trips aren’t just about the moment, they also cause your world view to change. I would have had no mental image of the Galapagos had we not gone there.  By working on this map, I feel like I better understand the past in a way that I didn’t while we were there.

With these images, maybe I was trying to capture terrain. I don’t really know what I was trying to do. I only had a few minutes to reflect. We went to several islands, and I appreciate that my phone recorded GPS coordinates when I took photos.
